Inside-Out Swing (1960)

“Wally {Moon} uses what the Walker brothers, Dixie and Harry, call an ‘inside-out’ swing, one in which a lefthanded hitter uses slower hand action to slice rather than hook a ball.” Bob Broeg, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, April 5, 1960, p18

  • Note: The term was extensively used to describe a golf swing much earlier than this.
